Aurelius & Lira – The Broken Curse

Dark Romance Art Print ✦ Fallen Angel Fantasy Wall Art

I found him, cursed and turned to cold marble within the silent halls of a derelict fortress. A fallen seraph, entombed in unyielding stone – until her mortal warmth graced his chest, awakening the life within. I captured this fragment at the precise moment her touch shattered his pale casing with threads of living gold. Some curses cannot be broken by force, only by passion.

This dark romance art print features Aurelius and Lira, her hand against his chest as marble turns to skin.

  • Collection: Vault I: The Frozen Between Seconds. Open Edition.
  • Borders: Printed with a classic white border. This ensures the printed surface remains untouched during handling and allows for alignment when using a mount in your chosen frame.
  • Mounting: Unframed and ready for the frame of your choosing, it is shipped flat with a rigid backing board and protective wrapping to keep it flat and undamaged in transit.
  • Authenticity: On the reverse, every artefact is hand-stamped in ink with the Kogosa mark, signed by hand in graphite pencil, and given its own sequential archive number.
  • Paper: Printed on 310gsm Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag, a heavyweight 100% cotton paper designed to resist fading and yellowing, keeping the artwork true to how it arrived.
  • Finish: Satin. The surface holds a smooth, low-glare tonal depth with a clean white base, giving noticeably less glare than glossy paper, and sits well framed behind glass.
  • Pigments: Printed with Epson UltraChrome PRO10 pigment inks, profiled specifically for this paper to produce deep blacks, true colour and smooth transitions between tones.
  • Technique: Every piece begins as a concept: the scene, characters and light. Generative AI helps generate it, then it’s refined by hand through inpainting and colour correction before printing.

Colour note: Screens emit light while paper reflects it, so the print you receive may read slightly differently to the image on your display, depending on your monitor and the light in the room.

To awaken the full presence of this materialized Vortex, it must be treated as an artifact, not mere paper.

  • The Unsealing: Your print arrives flat-packed to protect the heavy 310gsm cotton fibers. Handle only by the edges with clean, dry hands to avoid transferring oils to the delicate baryta surface.
  • The Framing: Do not let the print touch standard glass directly. Use a mount (mat board) to create breathing room. For the truest experience, we highly recommend anti-reflective museum glass to preserve the deep dmax blacks without cheap glare.
  • The Illumination: Screens emit light; cotton reflects it. To reveal the hidden brushstrokes and the true depth of the shadows, position your artifact where it can catch soft, warm directional light (from a nearby lamp or sconce). Avoid harsh, direct sunlight to ensure the archival pigments outlast a lifetime.
  • The Sanctuary: Once framed and illuminated, the artifact will shift its mood as the light in your room changes throughout the day. The Vortex is now anchored to your reality.
