Every artefact is materialized to order and dispatched within 3–5 business days. We ship via Royal Mail Tracked 48 — free on all UK orders. We never roll our 310gsm cotton paper, preserving the integrity of the baryta finish.

Returns
Because each physical artefact is materialized specifically for your sanctuary, we cannot accept returns for a change of mind. However, if your artefact is damaged by the journey, please contact us at studio@kogosa.co.uk within 48 hours with a photograph of the package and the print. We will immediately arrange a replacement to make it right.

To awaken the full presence of this materialized Vortex, it must be treated as an artifact, not mere paper.

  • The Unsealing: Your print arrives flat-packed to protect the heavy 310gsm cotton fibers. Handle only by the edges with clean, dry hands to avoid transferring oils to the delicate baryta surface.
  • The Framing: Do not let the print touch standard glass directly. Use a mount (mat board) to create breathing room. For the truest experience, we highly recommend anti-reflective museum glass to preserve the deep dmax blacks without cheap glare.
  • The Illumination: Screens emit light; cotton reflects it. To reveal the hidden brushstrokes and the true depth of the shadows, position your artifact where it can catch soft, warm directional light (from a nearby lamp or sconce). Avoid harsh, direct sunlight to ensure the archival pigments outlast a lifetime.
  • The Sanctuary: Once framed and illuminated, the artifact will shift its mood as the light in your room changes throughout the day. The Vortex is now anchored to your reality.
